Lacy Bunny Ears

...and in MK's case, mouse ears. You know it's a trend when the Olsen twins, Lady Gaga, and Dita Von Teese are all rocking it.

This high-end fashion trend is so insane that I'm going to give Lady G credit for it, although in truth, I really don't know who started it.

Also, Gaga looks kind of poignantly sad in her bunny ears.
Why so glum, Miss Germanotta? Cheer up, you sad crazy bunny!

  1. Stefani's ears look more like bat ears, being so pointy (and black).

How's your Halloween prep going? And why a pickle? Leah's being a ladybug and Lucy's a devil. Both black and red. Lucy's going to wear the devil horns my mom made for me to wear in 3rd grade.

  2. Oooh, I see you know your Gaga! Or maybe just your Stephanie/Stefanis. ;)

I don't know why a pickle...it was a sudden inspiration! I don't even particularly like pickles. The girls' costumes sound very cute. And I am impressed that your mom kept the devil horns that long! :0

BTW, not to grill you about my blog, but did you read my CASH CUBE post?? It was a very exciting experience!

  3. p.s. and you're right--those could be bat ears! I didn't think of that.

  4. I vaguely remembered that her name might be Stephanie/Stefani (I read a New Yorker piece about her once; very snobby way to get your LG info, I know!), so I wiki'd her. I was taking your lead, since you used her last name.

My mom did keep those devil horns a long time, but I've actually been holding onto them for longer. I think I took them out of the attic in case anyone needed props for that Halloween party we threw were you and I met!! I remember I also grabbed my old Communion veil, which Tor ended up wearing.

I did read about the cash cube. I was pretty excited until I saw that you only got $17 (if memory serves me). Not that you didn't do well, I just would have thought there'd be more in there. But I guess that's just on game shows. But congrats anyway. It sounds fun.

  5. Gaga's CD is pretty good (if you ever feel like listening to some modern pop music). Her songs are fun and catchy.
