OMG, how ridiculously cute is Dubs??!!?Alaskan Malamute "Dubs" is the official mascot of the University of Washington. A committee of campus representatives also considered the names Admiral, King, Koda, Legend, Reign, Spirit and Sundodger. I'm glad they settled on Dubs. It has a certain elegant simplicity.
Dubs' duties are as follows:
"Dubs will lead the team out of the tunnel before every home football game and wander the sidelines during each contest. The mascot also makes various appearances on behalf of the university and serves as a lasting image of the UW throughout the Northwest and the nation."
Sounds good, boy! Just don't answer any questions about gay marriage. I hear that doesn't always go so well.
