A Plea to the Networks

Hey, whatever happened to that show about the unfrozen cavemen? I think it was called Cavemen. Whatever happened to that? That show was so funny! I never got around to actually watching it, but I'm assuming it was really funny. I wonder what those guys are up to now? They were truly hilarious.

Bring back Cavemen, NBC (or whatever network that was)!

Edited to add: I just found out more details on Wikipedia. Damn that stinking writers strike! This thing had all the hallmarks of success, but it just didn't get a fair shake (even though it was aired alongside Carpoolers, which should have been a winning line-up). Not cool, ABC (apparently)!

"Cavemen is a short-lived American television show which ran on ABC from October 2, 2007 to November 13, 2007. The show was created by Joe Lawson and set in San Diego, California. Based on the GEICO Cavemen advertisements made for the American vehicle insurance company GEICO that were written by Lawson, the show is described by the network as a "unique buddy comedy that offers a clever twist on stereotypes and turns race relations on its head".

"Produced by ABC Studios and Management 360, the series originally aired alongside Carpoolers on Tuesday nights at 8:00PM Eastern/7:00PM Central. The series was placed on hiatus during the Writers Guild of America strike, and cancelled before the strike ended."
