"Here's a way to have your wedding cake and wear it, too: a one-of-a-kind bridal gown with a full skirt made of - you guessed it - flour, sugar and loads of frosting.
"The wedding cake dress was created by Lukka Sigurdardottir and documented on the blog Gather and Nest in photos that show a woman wearing the whimsical creation as another person cuts out a delicate slice to reveal a rainbow-colored filling."
That is kind of disturbing. I guess one would just stand in one place and wait for the cake portion of the wedding? If one were the bride, I mean.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't seem like it would be very much fun, would it??
ReplyDeleteUmmm ... I wouldn't want to be a guest and have to eat bride-worn cake. I mean that might be fun for the groom, but for the guests? And not to be nosy, but what's she wearing below her waist? Is there something between her and the cake? I suppose she wasn't "baked in" LOL - but was she lowered into a giant bundt cake or is there an exit panel in the rear? Shudder.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the cake itself looks like damaged bricks while the frosting looks like mortar. Pass ;-D. No thanks.
ewww, yeah, it's not too appetizing!
